The external monitor has become an essential part of my everyday teaching toolkit. When I am working with small groups of students, having the monitor allows the kids to see and hear what is on my screen much easier. The sound is just enough for a small area setting; the screen resolution is crystal clear, along with the screen size this is the perfect tool to add to a classroom. Another bonus is that it's lightweight and durable; it's easy for students to hook up to their device (phones work too) and present projects they are working on. 

I tried out two different portable monitors, and this one is easier to use with its kickstand. It meets all my needs with being lightweight, easy to stash in my bag, and easily plug-and-play with my laptop computer. It helps me to "take my show on the road" and show PowerPoint slides or other images to people sitting across the table while simultaneously viewing it on my laptop screen. I also used it to extend my screen, which lets me see Zoom meeting participants on one screen while seeing what I'm projecting plus the meeting chat room on my other screen. Having a second monitor for a laptop is a game changer!
