Product Support: A01058 Update Tool
If you have recently updated your computers display adapter drivers and are experiencing video issues with your A01058 Mini Dock, a device firmware update may be required.
To install the latest firmware on your A01058 Mini Dock, please download the firmware installation file and follow the steps below.
Instructions:
- Connect the update tool to your computer via the USB-A connection
- If your mini dock looks like the below, then you do not need an update tool and may connect your mini dock directly to your computer via the USB-C uplink cable
- If your mini dock looks like the below, then you do not need an update tool and may connect your mini dock directly to your computer via the USB-C uplink cable
- Connect the HDMI end of the update tool to the right-side HDMI port on your mini dock
- Connect an external power source to your mini dock via the USB-C power passthrough port
- Download the firmware Installer file
- If this is your first time connecting an update tool to your computer, right click on installer file and choose to run it as administrator.
- This will allow the driver file required for the update tool to be installed
- If the driver is already installed on your computer, you do not need to run it as administrator
- Accept the Terms and Conditions
- Click the “Install Firmware” Button
- A blue progress bar will display while the firmware is flashing
- Once the update is completed, a window will display stating the firmware has flashed successfully. Click close to close the installer.
- You have now successfully updated the firmware on your CODi A01058 mini dock and may continue using it as required.
